This special collaborative sharing and training session was facilitated by Helen Ball and Daniel Cowley of Audiences London (now The Audiences Agency) who started by presenting their research and guidelines on monitoring audience diversity.
The session covered reasons for monitoring, what it can tell you and what it can change. We then moved on to look at how to monitor effectively, sharing practice on how it is done in different organisations. We identified best practice in terms of how to ask questions about diversity and identity and considered when it is time to stop monitoring.
With such unbelievably high quality training and advice at the top value price of FREE, we all took the pennies we saved to the local curry house and enjoyed our Christmas celebration meal.
